Veterinary specialist Paul Overgaauw wrote this book for everyone who wants to start breeding dogs. After the first choice is made it is probably recomandable to read this book first, before you actually start breeding.
The book describes in many parts how to feed and to take care of the pregnant bitch as well as of the puppies. It also dedicates a chapter about vaccination, parasites and the surrounding area of a little dog. Not to forget are the first eight weeks of a puppy which are the most teachable and important ones. Another chapter talks about puppies dying its causes and how to avoid something like this.
The author also talks about the period before and after the accouchement, how to set everything up, if and when the veterinary should be there, and how to avoid things from going wrong. Along with pictures of the accouchement the book delineates everything step for step.
With necessary tips like breeding, vaccination, chipregistration amd house training the book wraps everything up for a new puppy owner.
